went to this really amazing 'battle of the bands' last night. uhm. battle of the bay street bands i believe. it was just bankers or investors or somethingthat made bands and performed/competed to raise money for charity (cancer). i actually have no idea what i was expecting when i went haha--my best friends moms boyfriend won tickets to it somehow and gave them to her hen he couldn't get corts mom to go with him :P still the bands kick assed--especially the last one. great talent all around. there werent any original songs though just covers...uhm. songs i can remember: jump & aint talking bout love by van halen, animal by def leppard, billie jean by michael jackson, lola by the kinks, lonely boy by the black keys, you shook me all night long & thunderstruck by ac/dc, born this way by lady gaga, i fought the law by i cant remember, louie louie by the kingsmen?, uh. there were tons lol but thats all i can recall at this current moment in time cause my head is kinda fuzzy. oh i also won some (golf) balls haha. crazy stuff. and ignore the errors in this thing im too stupid to worry about those right now....
