Once Upon a Time: your Favourite Fairy Tale

Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm. Hm, I'm not entirely sure why, it's just one of those stories that I've loved since I was a child. I loved reading the Grimm fairytales when I was younger (although probably moreso the revised editions than the originals) and Hansel and Gretel was the first to really pull me in and grab my attention. I've always loved the part about Hansel using a stick to fool the witch into believing that he wasn't actually gaining any weight...as a kid, I guess that Hansel--a small child--showing so much bravery and wit was pretty great :P
